But it makes me so glad to be a Panthers fan in the age of Gettleman.  Trades like this reek of desperation.  Gettleman turned us into a contender even inheriting a team that was 16 million over the cap, all while he's re-made what, 4 entire position groups?  (O line, Dline, WRs, DBs).  ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE.

A guy like Connor Cook may be the only hope to trading out of 30.  I'd assume someone jumps up to grab Paxton Lynch with the top 2 QBs going 1-2 now.

I actually thought they scored big with the trade with Atlanta--the trade that the Falcons used to grad Julio Jones.  Remember that trade in 2011?

Definitely interesting. Would go against what Gettleman has said on multiple occasions about trading back. I'll be very interested to see if Gettleman has the same "3 dimes vs a buck" response tomorrow when he is inevitably asked about trading back at the pre-draft press conference. If he doesn't you can be damn sure he is thinking about moving back. If he does then who knows. He could be lying/smokescreening. He's done it before.

Holy crap, I've been wondering that but didn't know if Gettleman would give up that 5th year option. I guess as long as the price is right.
