Is Star as good as gone?

I am in the minority that I think Star's talent has been bloated due to the play of our linebackers. While it is a mutual relationship, I don't think Star will command more than $7 mill a year and all you guys under the impression he will be tagged is hilarious. He was one of the worst rated DTs on PFF last year, on a top ten defense.

He's nowhere near $10 mill+ good, sorry guys.

What rank did PFF give Star after the 2015 season?

Of all Interior Defenders, KK ranked 8th with a grade of  90.7  (elite) [Run Defense 86.7;  Pass Rush 89.9;  Coverage 60.8]

Star ranked 88th with a grade of 66.5 [Run D: 73.7;  Pass Rush 47.1; Coverage 60.8]

There were 123 total DTs ranked.

Note:  I don't really understand the coverage grades for inside DTs????

Welp!

I guess that the Huddle's Steve Smith has a point.

I wonder how much of Star's problems have been due to injury.

I have always been unimpressed with the relative lack of production that Star has brought to the table, but I have always given him the benefit of the doubt due to injury---and listening to the space-eater argument, which really seems to get weaker by the moment considering the talent that he plays with.

Is PFF just missing the mark, or is Star simply an overrated myth given life by blind Huddlers that believe in fantasy vs. reality?

I would be curious to see what happens this year when teams try to double team Star, Ealy, and KK.

Anyone got a calculator?
