What If Henry isn't the Alabama RB That We Select

If we bypass Henry at 30 and Devontae Booker and Jonathan Williams are off the board, I'd love to grab Drake in the 3rd.  He's battled some injuries, but is an exciting back.  Great straight line speed, elusive and really quick feet.  One of the best receiving RBs in this draft class and can contribute on ST immediately.  Pretty impressive build too at 6'1" and 210... and reminds me a bit of Ryan Mathews or less physical Matt Forte.

I think this kid, along with Jonathan Williams are ideal fits for our system and would explode beside Cam in the pistol.  If Carolina is looking for a more versatile back that can catch out of the backfield, this could be their man.

I have been saying for a while, I think Drake is a better fit and value for us between the two RBs, he catches pretty well and adds to ST to boot.  I watched him a lot the last couple of years, since we have JStew this kid would be a great compliment to him, kind of like he was to Henry.  He has a very quick first step and several gears, plus he is a good kid.  And we are ranked 30th on ST - we can use all the talent we can get on that squad.

I concur.

Cannot add much, but I'll ask this- where would Drake be drafted if he where lead dog in bama or was on another team with similar OL\coaches ?

Say he was healthy during that too........ I believe he could have been the #2-4 RB and a late first, mid second prospect .
