Based upon Igo's four prospective picks, here is what PFF has to say

I'm so very nervous about Henry and not being able to be a 3 down RB, and us taking him in the 1st.

However, if the FO thinks that he can play, I trust their judgement.

There are many people who think that he can be an every down back. Questions regarding his viability in the passing game are simply the result of Alabama not using him in the passing game (That's how they roll), but at his pro day he caught everything. Moreover, I am sure that he was out through his paces during his workout, so Gettleman knows exactly what he'd be getting.

Basically, there is little need to be nervous. Gettleman's got this.

Dont agree or disagree with this, but putting it here for interest - Zierlein from NFL.com has the exact opposite analysis of Ogbah -

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000654030/article/2016-nfl-draft-bosa-atop-edge-class-short-on-quality-depth

"Emmanuel Ogbah: Ogbah's power will serve him well against the run, but he will have to become more skilled as a pass rusher".

Based on this, it seems he has the exact opposite view of PFF insofar as he views Ogbah as a run stopper (instead of a CJ type pass rusher with low run stop potential).

Interestingly he called out Weatherly as a sleeper pick with better pass rushing skills - we had that guy in and showed some interest in him as well.  I would keep an eye on him if we pass on a DE in the first.

"Pro Day" -- Keyword here. Henry has small hands too.

Eventually 2+2=4.

Henry's hands are a topic people haven't really talked about much overall for some reason.  I read a draft report from Nowracki (I know he is a douche but he puts out a pretty detailed draft report) that they were something like 8 3/4.  For comparison, Malcolm Mitchell from UGA (WR) who is 5 inches shorter has hands around 10 1/4.

People in here are too caught up at Henry being 6'3", 247 lbs and running a 4.5.

Those are fairly impressive stats for a RB, to be honest, but smaller hands also may explain why his teammate Drake (who has hands at 9 1/4, I think) got more passes.  I cant recall how many passes we threw to RBs but I know Cam likes the dump pass to Tolbert and sometimes JStew if the pass rush isnt picked up cleanly. Might be a factor, but who knows?  I still trust DG if we grab the guy.

I don't feel that the pro day is key at all, I think that much more weight should rightfully be given to his workout with the team. As for "small hands", they certainly haven't caused Henry to have fumbleitis.

I think that some Huddlers are putting way too much importance on Henry being drafted in the first round simply because of the notion of him being drafted in the first round. At pick 30, does it really make that big of a difference? Depending upon the relative value of the players, it is practically a second round pick anyway. To me it's all about Gettleman's bigger picture which only he can see (and maybe a few others with whom he shares his vision). I can understand not wanting Derrick Henry at all more than I understand not wanting him in the first round, but being pleased with him in the second round. Moreover, if there is some consensus blue chip prospect that we'd be passing up by Drafting Henry in the first round, I could see the outrage even more, because there are opportunity costs. But, if it's just a question of similarly valued players at their respective positions, then I will accept Getty's pick without argument.

As you well know, doing drills in shorts is not the same as doing it when the bullets are flying on Sunday.

He's given me no reason to doubt him thus far.
