Well, to play devil's advocate, how much do you care if Russell Wilson gets honored for charity work? Fact is, people just don't care that much about charity work unless they are a fan of the player. Peyton Manning has an entire children's hospital named after him and for him it's HGH and butts on faces that dominate the news.

I don't really care much if Cam gets honored for charity work either. I know he does it out of the kindness of his heart. Peyton Manning spent the majority of his career being a media darling. That stuff didn't really come out until the end. Sort of the same with Wilson. When those guys are talked about nationally its normally positive. Cam seemingly for his entire career has been portrayed negatively in the national media.

The sexual assault case and HGH about Peyton Manning didn't really dominate the news. The idiots at ESPN didn't spend that much time discussing those issues and when they did, it looked like it pained them to do so,but if that was Cam...LORD HAVE MERCY!
