hes going to be as good as the oline in front of him

Well, poo, that can be said about 990 RBs out of a 1000.

One thing that you obviously don't appreciate is the fact that he almost always gets positive yards, regardless.

Lacy lost at least 20lbs per ESPN

"He looked good," Aaron Rodgers said after seeing Lacy at Monday's workout. "Obviously been doing a lot of P90X." Lacy drew similarly positive reviews from Jordy Nelson and Mike Daniels. Multiple photos have circulated on social media showing a cut up Lacy looking nothing like the out-of-shape bruiser he was in 2015. Headed into the final year of his rookie contract, Lacy will probably be in the best shape of his NFL career.

More like lost 120lbs, Lacy was a fat disgusting slob until he learned a simple trick that drives doctors crazy!

Looking at that pic gave me a thought if we were to draft D Henry...when Levon Bell came out of college he was on the heavier side if I remember correctly and he or the Steelers decided that he should loose some weight; and when he did he excelled. Could that be an option for D. Henry?

Henry doesn't need to lose any weight.  At 230 pounds, Bell ran a 4.60 in his combine performance.  At 247 pounds, Henry ran a 4.5.  Henry is explosive enough to carry his weight around.

Henry has a hard time keeping weight on

1.Larger than average Quarterback

2.Larger than average Receiver(s)

3.Larger than average Running Back if we were to draft Henry.

"Big men allow you to compete."

Can you imagine how strong a defense would have to be to compete with this offense?  I would not be upset 1 bit if Henry was our pick at 30.

One of my biggest problems with Henery is the huge misconception is that with his size, he's a power back that just breaks through tackles. He's a one cut back, like an Arian Foster....except with literally no agility. And that in itself is the problem.

Meril Hodge watch 350-some odd snaps of him. And out of those, 100 went for 0 or loss. That's a Lil under 30% of his runs stuffed. Yes Derrick Henry was a monster at Alabama. He has good speed to pull away from DBs and LBs once he hits a hole, which is surprising for a 6'2 HB.  But when things aren't absolutely perfect, he struggles.  If he's forced to create for himself, make a man miss or out power a guy, he often fails.

You can argue that that every HB has that problem,  but a lot struggle more than others. Levon Bell, Matt Forte, Todd Gurely and The aforementioned Arian Foster are all good examples of HBs that can make bad situations turn great with a combination of speed, power and agility. Make a man miss when they dart into the backfield. Power through the trenches and show the ability to get skinny through gaps or small windows. And Henry...hasn't shown that. That's not to say he CAN'T do these things. But of what I've watched of the kid, he hasn't often had to ever create for himself. Usually when he rad, he had good to great run blocking ahead of him.

You guys always seem to roll your eyes and ignore this, but Alabama is an amazing run system school, and the talent and schemes they employ to get the most out of runs is amazing.  You guys are always the first to poo on, or be cautious of a USC WR, and rightfully so, we've been burned by them twice, and to date the more recent ones have...lived up to USC to NFL WRs standards. Why not be cautious or think twice when the Alabama tree has proved to be eh to sub par in the NFL.

The thing Gentleman (rightfully so) probably loves most about Henry is his pass blocking. It. Is. Amazing. His blitz pickup and blocking awareness is second to none in this draft. He'd be a great asset to Cam in that regard.

Look, all I'm saying about Henry is: He's okay. He's like...a poor man's Demarco Murray. And hey, that's okay! He's definitely a north south runner and nothing else.  Those expecting him to be an Adrian Peterson type of bruiser because of the size comparison are gonna be surely dissapointed. His size is more flash and not really substance, and he often doesn't play up to his physical talents. He's not gonna carry a pile, or keep hisnlegs moving, often opting to fall forward instead of fighting for more yards. His agility is sub par and doesn't have much ability to create for himself or make people miss out of the backfield. He offers nothing as a reciver out of the backfield and probably will never be great at that. He's good at what he does and not great at anything save pass blocking.

Can he be good? Sure. I'll even admit he's one of the more.promising HBs out of Alabama. The only back I liked more than him was Lacy...who's good when he's not neck deep in is Wisconsin cheese curds. But like Lacy, I really wouldn't take him before the second. With how common HBs are nowadays, you don't really take one in the first unless they're the magnitude of an AP, a Gurely, Etc.

I've warmed up to Henry more than I have in the past, but I still wouldn't be crazy with the pick

I rather have balance in size & speed but he has the talent to be a legit RB. IMO Seattle picks him up if they dont target a DT. J-Stew has couple years of high production, rather have him than any other RBs in this class beside Elliot.
