Hornets vs Heat, Game 1 PLAYOFF GAMETHREAD

Alright, so we are in the playoffs for just the third time in what? 12 years? I prefer to see it as the 2nd time in 3 years. A couple years ago we would all be feeling hopeless about this matchup, today, I feel anxious yet optimistic. 

We actually played the Heat decent in 2013-14 playoffs. Kemba put the team on his shoulders and an injured Big Al is what plagued us. Oddly enough, just two years later, we are a completely new team. We don't need any complex game plans to win this series. We just need to play like the team that has earned the reputation of "A poor mans Golden State".

I really like the element Lin brings to the team.

The inconsistent shooting is something we are going to have to permanently correct from here on out if we want to win this series against the Heat though.

Should be a fun game. Even if we drop this game I'm not really worried. We split the season series with these guys and lately Miami has been very inconsistent.  I think Kemba has finally reached a point where he can keep our team in check. We also have very good depth that should serve us well as this series plays out. 

We have the talent and we have the coaching. Now it's time for this team to know they can advance.
