You read the schedule wrong.....we have 2 MNF, 2 TNF, and only one SNF.

Twitter bought all the Thursday night games. They paid about what Yahoo did to stream that 1 game last season. Difference is Yahoo stream was the only way to watch it outside of the local markets.

Do teams usually do anything different when they have to travel to play West Coast teams back to back?  Seems like it would be illogical for us to come back to Carolina but I don't know the NFL rules and if we'd be allowed to stay out there.

You have time to develop a plan.  I will help start the brainstorming:

1,Tell her you wanted to surprise her but you have been studying online to be a surgeon.  Have a friend call, using words like "Kidney failure" and "STAT".  Tell her you have to leave (around 11:AM) or people will die.  Run out of the house.  This plan would have worked for me, but I wore my Panther gear.  Have Panther gear in trunk--wear scrubs.

2, Develop a robot (you have time) that looks and acts lke you.  Be careful not to enhance the size of its package because you are compensating.  Again, it was the fatal flaw of my attempt at this.  Sunday morning?  Did not see it coming.

3.  Start sleepwalking now, so by the time the 24th of December rolls around, it will be convincing. You will need a friend to pick you up.   Take your PJs, and after the game, put them on and roam the streets in a zombie stupor a few blocks from your house.  The cops bring you home, and your wife tells them about your sleepwalking habit. They release you with no charges filed because its Christmas eve.  I have not tried this one, but it just might work.

I am out of bullets.  #2 requires some engineering background, and #1 is totally unbelievable if you are, as I am, a dumbass for the most part.  #3 is my recommendation.

Arguing semantics.  Yeah, the season opener is played on a Thursday but it's entirely presented by the SNF production team and broadcasted with Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth commentating with the exact same presentation as SNF while being distributed by NBC, who holds the SNF (their only football program) telecast.  It's literally just SNF, but on a Thursday.  Shoot, even still this one particular game is the largest prime time game of the season along with the Thanksgiving games.

But all that aside, my point was... 5 prime time games with a potential big time 'America's Game of the Week' type late afternoon game against the Cardinals. We've hit the fuging big time.

Somebody posted yesterday that team will stay out west.

I don't think they will stay out there during the West Coast trips. It is much easier for teams to traveling east to west. A 4PM game out there is like playing a 1PM game here where a 1PM game here would be like playing at 10 AM out there. It will be a chartered  nonstop flight so that's just a couple more hours in the air and no big deal. The team can pretty much keep the same sleep schedule they normally would and keep the body clock on East Coast time. Its easy to go to bed early after traveling out there because at 9PM your body clock says midnight. You just can't go out partying.
