So people are still taking shots at Cam for the SB press conference (Mark Schlereth)

If only Cam would realize that you have to let the meat rest and THEN cut it with the grain!  If you cut it right off the grill or out of the oven, you lose all the juices and the meat becomes dry!

Im sure lots of people were calling Mark a bust before he even got in the league, im sure they wrote an articles detailing how he would be a bust, im sure they took every little thing he did and tried to scrutinize him about it. Hell, im sure after even having a career rivaling Peyton Manning so far in the league they still find ways to call him overrated, oh wait Mark wasnt a QB. No one even gave one inch of a fug about Mark compared to Cam. Mark couldn't pave the wave for Terrell Davis.

2011: this guy will be a bigger bust than jamarcus russell.  i'll eat my words if he's even in the league in five years

2016: so what if he won league MVP and was a first team all pro and led a team to 15-1 and started in a super bowl bawwwww press conference i tried to warn you about him

Why can't people understand this is what it is about. Aside from the racist idiots that is horrified at the prospects of a Cam Newton, nearly all of the remaining Newton bashers fit neatly into this box.

Cam Newton just won an NFL in a league that still featured Brady, Manning, Brees, Rodgers, Big Ben, and of course, Andrew Luck. And it really wasn't close at the end. And he did it without a player many of them probably would say "made Cam Newton" KB. If Newton had won the MVP with a healthy KB, idiots in the media like Mark would cry about KB "bailing Newton out."

Never in their wildest dreams did they think Newton was capable of 2015-2016. Never. Hell, by 2016 Newton was supposed to be a backup QB or a converted TE. This is where they're source of anger comes from.

2017: Baww so what if he won Superbowl MVP and threw for 421 yards and rushed for 3 TDs and won league MVP for the second year in a row. He still dabs and acts like a child fug having fun in the no fun league. He's out of the league by 2022 with all that running.

2022: Baww so what if Cam Newton has developed into one of the best passers in the league and has 4 Super Bowl rings. He's black so fug him.

Cam's just gonna keep getting better and better. I'll throw down $100 right now something like this will happen in the future.

On the other hand, some noted that Spieth had his own testy moment while he was walking to Butler Cabin. A TV camera got too close for his liking, and the golfer — politely — asked that it be “just not in the face.”

Others noted that Spieth failed to congratulate Willett when presenting the winner with the Green Jacket.

So classy!

(P.S. I have nothing against Jordan Spieth or his reaction to his loss.  Just pointing out that the hot-takers molded the story to their needs.)

Cam isn't PC.   He doesn't hide his emotions,  he displays them well....  As far as I'm concerned, he doesn't owe the media a damn thing.  They've crucified him ever since before he was drafted.      He does his dancing and celebrating on the field,  and on the field,  he immediately ran over to Peyton to tell him -  Good Game.

The media has set up this screwed up perception that unless a player sits there and answers the same question over and over and over...........that they are most likely a bad person.

We even saw some headlines ripping into Rivera and the coaches,  because they won't beat Cam and force him to treat the media with the utmost respect.
