The kid has been a model citizen up until this point and when someone puts their hands on your girlfriend there aren't many other actions you can take. This is petty compared to some of the stuff other NFL players have done.

You are right the world isn't coming to an end per say. But dang you got the biggest interview of your life day in and day out with meeting with teams couple of weeks before the draft which is going to be one of the biggest days of your life and you can't keep it together for a couple of weeks.  Not suggesting everyone has to be a choirboy but compare it to a real life interview people are getting denied second interviews and even first interviews because employers are search social media outlets now and current and future employees.  Its just the world we live in these days.  All these athletes have to do is stay the course and in a couple of weeks they are millionaires.  Its mindboggling. 

Someone will take him in the late rounds though.  He is talented and I actually was hoping we would take in like the 5th-7th.  but Gman probably wont touch him now.

I agree, staying out of bars/clubs for 4 months isn't that hard.

Way too many of em get it in their head that the rules don't apply to them. Then comes the massive shock when they find out they do. Leads to moments like when Michael Irvin asked cops "Do you know who I am?"
