Tyler Higbee of Western Kentucky, who’s considered one of the top tight ends in the 2016 NFL Draft, is facing multiple charges after an early Sunday morning arrest in Bowling Green, Ky.

Zach Greenwell of the Bowling Green Daily News reported that Higbee, 23, was charged with second degree assault, second degree evading police and alcohol intoxication in a public place.

He was booked at 2:41 a.m. Sunday, less than three weeks before the draft, and now he’ll have a bunch of questions to answer for NFL evaluators.

Its just incredibly hard for some really talented football players to be normal and not get arrested.  Weird.

Chris Spielman had a rant on his radio show about this once.

We're not suggesting everyone should be choirboys. All we ask is that you NOT GET ARRESTED! Is it really that hard? Millions of people with a lot less to lose manage to go their whole lives without ever getting themselves arrested once. Why can't you?

What a shame. I can't imagine he gets drafted unless things aren't as bad as they sound based on the charges. He has plenty of talent but without common sense it won't add up to success. I really liked him. Their offense was prolific. They went 12-2 in an easy conference.

I bet someone gives him a chance as aUDFA if he doesn't get drafted.

It's usually because they are coddled, enabled, covered for and spoon fed because they can run fast jump high throw far and do it while being bigger than every one else.

The parents start it by telling them they're better than everyone else, the schools don't help by giving special treatment, colleges up the ante with girls and parties.  The weak willed ones have no shot.  Johnny Football comes to mind.
