If you take someone's life, it needs to be for a serious threat on your own life or those of your family. Their being big and angry isn't enough.

Will Smith should have never threatened the other man.

Even if I am colpletely wrong, Smith still shouldnt have approched the other man in anger.

 Just read the article on Nola.com . Smiths body was found slumped over the steering wheel of his own vehicle. The person who shot him was in the vehicle behind him. The suspect looks like a "large man" himself.

That is not self defense.

the fact that he was found dead at the wheel was actually mentioned from the outset when this broke early this morning

the idea that this was in self defense is inane.

Smiths' car was rear-ended. I have a hard time believeing that the person in the rear car would start a fight over something that was clearly his ownfault.

It was a3 car pile up. Smiths was in the middle. So it isn't clearly the fault of the guy who shot Smith

And people like you are what's wrong with society. You don't value human life anymore than a guy who shoots someone because of "words".

Gun rights and protecting one's self, family and property don't have anything to do with your political orientation, physical size, ethnicity, or whatever.

And lastly, you've rushed to judgment. All of the facts of the situation aren't even out, but you've made all of these leaps about the entire incident. Rushing to judgment is probably why a man and his wife were shot, and why the other will likely be going to jail for crossing the line, or possibly even downright murder.

This isn't the wild west. You can't take out a gun at the drop of a hat and start shooting because you're upset at a guy who is upset at you because you rear-ended his vehicle.

BTW, making a "mistake" with a gun means you don't need one.
