replacable

get used to a lot more picks like David Mayo. Cheap, solid, young depth picks. We really dont have that many holes... sure, upgrades could be made. but there are not 7+ glaring holes on a yearly basis heading into the draft for us anymore.

great place to be. instead of playing catchup trying to fill holes of people who leave via whatever, we will have guys waiting in the wings.. injuries too..

makes me giddy. makes me wana lick Gmans nips through his shorts leaving wet spots.

Evens out the compensatory pick situation for us.

Gained: Gradkowski, Boykin

Lost: Nortman, Velasco

We're probably about done in FA (Gettleman brings in almost exactly 16 rookies every year, right now we have 17 openings) aside from maybe another OT or 3T. We've still got Cotchery, Harper, and Silatolu as UFAs that could potentially sign with a team and put us into next year's compensatory pick race.

Does Trenton Robinson not count? I can't remember if he was an UFA or not.

Boykin did not receive a large enough contract to count in the cancellation.

We must still wait on the size of Velasco's contract to see if he qualifies.

Most likely Boykin doesn't count, yes; and I'm assuming the same from Velasco, so I'm thinking they still cancel out even if neither actually counts toward the formula.
