How many night games this year ?

3 or 4.  Will definitely have the gambit of a Sunday Night, Monday Night and Thursday Night game.  I expect the Sunday Night game to be against an AFC opponent, probably the Broncos.  Could see Monday Night against the Seahawks.  Thursday game are more likely divisional games and since we've had the Saints and Bucs in recent years on Thursday, I expect to be @Atlanta on Thursday Night this year since they beat us.  Maybe we get two Monday Nights or Sunday Nights, but 3 is my guess.  Might get flexed into another late in the year.

We will automatically play a Thursday and Monday game since that is how scheduling works in the NFL. I say we will get scheduled for 6 night games and end up playing 7 due to flex scheduling.

Thursday night will be against the Chiefs early in the year. Week 2 or 3. The other week will be Sunday night vs Denver. Getting 2 AFC games out of the way early for Carolina so they can play NFC foes late in the year. Getting more of a audience. Week 6 or 7 we will play Oakland on Monday night football. Again so the AFC games arent late in the year. We will play Seattle week 10 or 11 on Sunday night. Week 13 or 14 we will play Minnisota on Sunday night. Arizona week 15 or 16 on Sunday night. We might play our divisional opponant on Sunday night Week 17 based on flex scheduling. That would be the 7th primetime game.

Just have a hunch we play on Christmas day for some reason.

I think the last time Christmas day was on a Sunday they played most of the games on Saturday. It's been awhile though, I could be wrong.

Last I heard was 29 of the 32 NFL teams could have a max of 5 primetime games every season, with the other 3 teams having a max of 6 primetime games, to account for the flexing of games later in the season. Thursday night and Monday night games couldn't be flexed. The 3 teams that could get 6 primetime games isn't set in stone, but does tend to be teams from larger markets and/or fanbases like New England, Pittsburgh, Dallas, Green Bay, etc.

All that said, we should get at least 4, since we have the league MVP and went to the Superb Owl.

Since we have to play on a Thursday, and a rematch with Den is inevitable i hope just those 2 but throw in a Mon/Sun night each were looking at 4-5.

maybe they give us the opening Thursday game @Den kill 2 with one stone.  And that will be it?

I think we'll have the opening Thursday in Denver and that'll be our only Thursday game unless we get Thanksgiving again (unlikely), but zero chance that would be it. I bet we have 3-4 including the opener.
