Hardy isn't coming back. Move on.

And yes, the guy is a moron.

Just because players like him doesn't mean he isn't a moron.

He's still unsigned.  And people change their minds ALL the time.  And I do not buy that JR missed the owners meetings over a bum shoulder.  He's pissed and I don't blame him.  Until he's signed we should not give up.  And moron or not, if we play the Pats next February don't tell me you wouldn't pay money to see this.

Hardy is dumb.  But I believe everything he's saying.  He's dumb for putting himself in the situation that led to this problem.  He's dumb for some of the things he says sometimes.  Admitting that he isn't faultless, that he did something wrong, makes it much more believable when he says he never hit her.  I don't think anything Hardy did was with the intent of hurting her.  I think he was trying to get a crazy female out of his house and that's it.  I don't believe for an instant he "threw her on a bed of guns" or into the bathtub or hit her or anything like that.  Do I wish he'd resign with us?  Absolutely.  He was a great Panther, never had any problems until this incident and was the second best player on our defense his last 2 or 3 years.  Do I think it will happen?  Not while JR is around.

So why does everyone still want this guys nuts on a platter?  He's admitted his mistakes and tried to move on.  Seems like people just want to see another human perpetually punished.  When will he have been punished enough?

i don't want him back.  But as a man I don't want to see him cast aside either.  Let the guy work and do what he was born to do.  Play football.  Let him get his life back on track if he can.  Moron-this and idiot-that whatever if there is one thing every person on this planet has done, it's fug up.

America loves to forgive someone who is contrite and admits they were wrong and appears genuinely sorry.  If he can't be tried or sued anymore he should just come out and admit his part followed by treatment for anger issues. The league would look favorably on that and consider hiring him. It doesn't matter what happened so much as if he is believable and people think he plans to change. It wouldnt hurt to stop making stupid comments and pissing folks off as well.

Hard to feel sorry for him as much of his problems he created on his own and he keeps doing it.

Smitty is stupid for saying anything with his past.

At least he wasn't stupid enough to get caught up with a crazy woman and ruin his career though.

He isn't a model spokesman for domestic violence himself. He really could have been prosecuted.

So you're telling me you think JR missed the owners meeting... as some kind of Greg Hardy protest?

He basically admitted his part, but he hasn't shown any kind of remorse.

He is either rock-headed, or just doesn't have the best support or counsel.

He is a remarkably intelligent guy, but he isn't smart in the slightest it seems.

Interesting to see the bitches-deserve-a-regular-attitude-adjustment crowd still in full defense mode of Greg Hardy.

Stakes and pitchforks were used at a time when humanity was just a little less dumb than it is now.

Of course not.  It's because they turned their back on him as chair of the LA committee.  The guy is old and wants the trophy.  As a fellow human being it wouldn't shock me if he wakes up one day and says F it and gives GMan the green light.  That's what I'm saying.
