I really don't give two shits one way, or the other, but proclaiming the man "legally not guilty," is as much bullshit as the people spitting poo against him.  Nowhere in the history of this case, does any legal documentation proclaim him not guilty.

Correct me if I'm wrong but a Dv charge won't show up ever on a background check, and didn't he win his appeal??? That's what the appeal was for,to oppose the original guilty verdict. I'm in Ga unless the appeal process is worlds different I'm pretty sure that's how it works

Why?  People are already saying we're gonna implode because Cam didn't dive on the football.  Cam and JNo fought last year.  89 fought everyone.  Did Hardy?  They have no clue.

You're the only one that has no clue.  You can't seriously be so delusional.

First, literally nobody is saying that about Cam/our locker room, except for fans of other teams.

Second, 89 is not here anymore...

Lastly, show me the tape of Cam and Josh fighting during the regular season, DURING A GAME, on the sideline.  Show me a tape of them getting in their coaches faces, knocking clipboards out of their hands, DURING A GAME.  Show me the records of coaches/players saying they're constantly late for meetings & practice, and players saying they were causing tension in the locker room.

When you can present that information, I'll gladly take your side, and stand in the middle of Charlotte with a sign stating what an idiot I am.  I can have it prepared for Hardy in 5 mins.  I'll wait on you to get your's together, but trust me... I don't have to worry about that sign.

Hardy seems to only pick fights he knows he'll win...

it's immaterial because there is a virtual 0% chance he'll be back on the panthers provided richardson is still the owner of this team.  i don't think gettleman or rivera would be too keen on the idea either.

if you're on this site arguing in favor of greg hardy right now with the circumstances the way they are, the greatest prize you can possibly get out of it is the right to say "see i told you" if he ever becomes a stable, productive piece on another team.  whoopee

I don't have to have a PhD in human behavior to know what I saw/heard on NFL Live and Dan Patrick from Schefter.  By that same token, I also can imagine how I might feel if I were JR under the same set of circumstances if my fellow owners made me look like a fool.  Doesn't mean he necessarily green lights Greg Hardy, but his give a damn meter in theory shouldn't have much left in the tank.

You seriously think the team owner who still gets upset when the topic of Rae Carruth comes up is going to sign Greg Hardy just to piss some people off?

And you believe the general manager who said "Winning is hard enough; who needs a time bomb?" would be on board with that?

It's not happening.  Nor should it.

Oh, and FYI: Pressure still counts even if it doesn't come from the DE.  And Kony Ealy says hi.

I'm gonna start referring to this crowd as the IEFBGs, short for "It's Everybody's Fault But Greg's".

The rationale applies to pretty much everything:

Hardy crashes his motorcycle while driving recklessly. "Not his fault! He was just having fun!"

Hardy gets criticized for saying something stupid. "It's the media's fault! They were baiting him!"

Hardy surrounds himself with people of questionable character. "It's those people's fault! They're a bunch of leeches!"

Hardy tweets a picture of his speedometer while driving recklessly...again.  "I don't know whose fault it is, but it's not Greg's fault! And anyway nobody got hurt!"

Hardy gets arrested for domestic violence. "It's that crackhead whore's fault! She's just looking for money!"

Hardy gets convicted of the charges. "It's that feminist judge's fault! And legally, that never happened so you can't even talk about it!"

Hardy is unemployed.  "It's the NFL's fault! Or maybe it's Ray Rice's fault!  Either / or, but whatever, it's not Greg's fault!"

Hardy has a mediocre season in Dallas. "It's the Cowboys fault! They're a crappy team!"

Hardy acts lazy, never shows up for meetings, half asses his effort on the field and effectively disappears for the latter part of the season. "It's the Panthers fault! He'd be different if he were here!"

Hardy açcepts going on the exempt list (basically a paid vacation) rather than fighting it. "It's Richardson, Rivera and Gettleman's fault! They should have fought harder for him"

Hardy spends his gamedays on the exempt list going to strip clubs and partying rather than supporting his teammates. "It's Roger Goodell's fault! He only suspended him to save his image!"

Hardy comes off like a stupid douchebag in an interview. "It's ESPN's fault! They're just out to get him!"

Hardy suggests his rap career will benefit from the attention that he's getting because of his arrest. "Greg just needs better handlers!"

(Yeesh)

Boy, it sure is amazing just how much bad luck and how many mean people this sweet, innocent, upstanding guy has had to deal with in his life, isn't it?  Kinda sad.

I'm sure somehow, some way, all of this is probably also the fault of me and the other people who are against signing him back. If we'd just accept that none of this stuff was ever his fault, then I'm sure everything would be okay. Greg would somehow gain wisdom and sound judgment, he'd come back to Charlotte, play for free and lead the Panthers to an undefeated season and Super Bowl victory.

But it won't happen, all because me and others like me just won't accept that Greg is blameless.

(I feel so guilty)

Even if everyone pushed the "woman beater" title to the side, and overlooked it, you'd still end up with a fuging psycho idiot on your team.  It amazes me, after what we witnessed with this team last season, that people want this moron in that locker room.

Like I said at the beginning. I don't want Hardy back. I think he didn't do what he did. But he would cause too many problems if he did come back

I just linked a box score OF A GAME WITH THE CAROLINA PANTHERS where he helped us win a road game without our starting QB in a situation we'd lost two years prior, again, after all of the alleged incidents that have been played out more than Bill Murray's Goundhog Day.

You won't find a bigger Panther fan or someone more excited about Kony Ealy.  But Greg Hardy sat 21 games that if not for the Rice video he sits 0, is a former All-Pro in his prime, could be had for cheap, and is a good teammate according to our captains.  The rest is up to our owner/FO and I'm not holding my breath, but it is what it is.

not only that, he'd also have to be so pissed off at the other owners that he'd be willing to put aside his feelings about the guy who so badly embarrassed him and his team.

That doesn't have poo to do with what I posted, but thanks for playing.
