And you're the one always talking about strawman arguments. I will tell you like I have told my teenager on several occasions, don't try and put words in my mouth or thoughts in my head. 

Even though you are trying to muddy the waters of this discussion, we all know that at its root, it's about justice (or injustice, as it were) and fairness. Justice and fairness are not possessions of the courts. Along with freedom, they really should be the bedrocks of all that is American.

My position is clear.  No need to discuss it anymore.

Funny thing is I have seen more post about Hardy started by people who are against him rather than so called jock huggers since he left.  Hardy critics are always starting the fire and blaming everybody else for it spreading.

He paid her not to show up and the prosecutors dropped it because they "couldn't move forward with the case" without her. They wouldn't have needed her to let a jury hear it if they had enough evidence, but they didn't have any solid evidence so it was dropped. This wasn't a civil case so him paying her to no show didn't get him off the same as settling out of court would in a civil case, like Michael Jackson did in the first sexual abuse case and Cosby did about a decade ago with the Temple employee.

It's not my damn job to be "fair" to those assholes.

Perhaps you should study your scripture a little more, but it probably won't do any good. Just like you pick and choose which evidence to consider in order to support your already made up mind, I am almost certain that you manipulate scripture to that same end.

A basic sense of fairness, justice and forgiveness is obviously foreign to you, but I am not surprised at all. If you think that Hardy is the "stink of society" just because of one unfortunate night of bad judgement, then you are simply out of touch with the real world.   

And, by the way, hypotheticals are tools of strawman arguments. At many times they are the very thing that give birth and breath to the smoke and mirrors. I have made my position on the matter extremely clear, and no further explanation is necessary. I will not play your games.

Those people need to get a life and/or spend some time on these other guys for a change, not to mention guys like Rawls and Clark who came into the league as felons.  On this page alone you don't find Hardy until page 6.

Besides, the only opinion in the world that means more than an underwear skid mark at this point is Jerry Richardson.

He answered that exact question in his own words in the interview.  Hopefully the full interview will be available online soon.
