Somewhat, but I literally said:

meaning I accept that it is just as prevalent (or as the graphs showed, more prevalent) in the South as other areas.  But it is also accepted (as far as I know) that the South is considered more respectful in general, so it's not a stretch to make the [wrong] assumption and connection that he's making in his ill advised comment that being raised in the South, where culture teaches us to be more respectful, taught him not to hit women.

It was a dumb comment, but people were trying to say that he said "DV almost never happens in the South" which isn't what he said.  He said it doesn't happen in most homes, which is true.

fuging English, man.

The case was dropped because of lack of evidence that any assault took place by Hardy. If there was any evidence of the crime, they would not have needed Holder at all. It's the definition of a he-said she-said when the case has to be dropped because she isn't there to say anything.

wasnt the case settled by hardy paying her off?

"The issue" is that he's a bona fide numbskull and paying him anything is risking not just that money but a roster spot that could go to someone else who's not a head case.

Again, don't put yourself in the position of having to depend on someone you know is undependable.

We don't need him.

No we don't NEED him but our fringe active/inactive roster was a hodgepodge of Norwood, CAP, Delaire, Bersin, et al.  Greg Hardy is a little better than those guys with all due respect.

Listen to Adam Schefter post interview!!!!!!! http://thebiglead.com/2016/04/05/adam-schefter-greg-hardy/

PS-I too have met Hardy in living color.  In 2011, but still.  Couldn't have been more pleasant.

None of them are head cases.

Dave Gettleman already said "Winning is hard enough. Who needs a time bomb?" That tells me all I need to know about Hardy's chances of playing here.

Why would you even waste a single breath trying to push this idea?

Because our team captains vouch for the guy.  He would undoubtedly be the best bang (pun or not) for buck in the league for a team that values value.  Our owner is rightfully pissed at the other 31 and may meet his Maker soon, and this guy would literally make us an unstoppable juggernaut that perhaps hasn't been seen in all of sports, not just football.

The guy who got all of six sacks last year and just kind of hung around for the last several games makes us unstoppable?

yeah we're a good team.  several of our position groups look stacked on paper and the weakest units on this team are average when compared to the rest of the league.

but we're not greg hardy away from going 19-0 or threatening, say, what the 95-96 bulls did

He got 15 WITHOUT KK, Star, Kony, Shaq, JNo, and others being NEAR the players they'll be in 2016.  He'd have double digits with one arm tied behind his back playing 16 games with this D.

Because he'll magically suddenly start working hard again (like he didn't when everyone was watching to see if he'd get it together)?
