nice got some really good depth at DT now with him and Soliai backing up Short and Star

If we can get our hands on one good DE we'll be good with the whole Dline. Probably getting him through the draft.

Will compete with Soliai for the backup 1-Tech spot behind Star. Maybe they'll keep both, but I doubt it. 

Still need another 3-Tech since as of now Short has no backup. That's basically our only vacancy left.

Gman is really setting us up to draft BPA. I know this is always his philosophy, but this year, it looks like it truly will be BPA, and not BPA in an area of need. The only spot, I could see the BPA not being a Panther is if one of the QBs fell for some reason. Literally every other position is up for grabs.

I don't think Love coming back was ever really in question, it was just a matter of nailing down the details.

He can play 3T if we don't get one in the draft and he acts as injury insurance if we do. The possibility that he beats out Soliai exists as well. Given how long it took, I imagine his contract will be very close to the minimum.

I wish it was 2 years, but that'll work! Our D-Line is gonna be so beast. Imagine if we were to hit on a DE and/or DT in the draft that's ready to contribute in the rotation.....

I'm glad he's staying. Can't blame him for shopping other teams though. He's got bills to pay, and I doubt G-man made the top offer.

I'd hope we get some younger DTs to come in and hopefully push the older guys out for the backup spots. We had a problem last year with the aged backups getting tired at the same point in the game as the younger starters.
