They've played two more games than the Heat and Hornets. Theoretically, in those two extra games something could go disastrously wrong where we'd both miss the playoffs.

They have one more win than Miami and Charlotte.  The worst they can do is finish 45-37 while both Miami and Charlotte could still finish 44-38

They have 45 wins to our 44.  Once we get 45 wins we'll clinch too.
