Possibly the best laugh of the offseason

They must be drinking buddies, there is zero basis for believing the Browns will do anything but regress. Their current season is in the hands of an RG3 and Gordon reunion and one of them isnt even eligible to play again. If they draft Wentz he instantly has increased his bust factor by at least 50%. Goff will then become a super star due to sods law.

i'm starting to wonder when quarterbacks who get drafted by the browns are just going to hold out for a trade by default

even in the absolute pits of the hurney and late fox years this team was never as inept as the browns.  2010 sucked and was a slap in the face to the fans but at least there was a rationale behind it even if it wasn't a good one.

There's also this...

Brandon LaFell signed with the Bengals because he wanted to stay with a winner

Quote

While Cincinnati hasn’t exactly been New England in terms of postseason success, LaFell did see something there he wanted to be a part of.

“Once you get a taste of winning, you don’t want to take a step back and go somewhere where they’re trying to rebuild,” LaFell said, via Paul Dehner Jr. of the Cincinnati Enquirer. “If you have options to pick and choose where you want to go, you pick and choose a team that still is winning, has a good quarterback, good system and good opportunity to win.”

He’s joining a team with plenty of offensive options, but LaFell has the kind of size to take advantage of mismatches inside, and ability to get downfield and make chunk plays. And perhaps the fact he caught a touchdown in the Super Bowl two years ago will help the Bengals become even more like the Patriots.

Pure snark from Gantt.
