How about those RED SOX! Part Deux

I wish these games started an hour earlier.

It's still kind of strange being a fan of this team. As a kid, being a Red Sox fan where I grew up meant losing and yearly heckling by the Yankee fans in the area - I grew up in Massachusetts, but on the CT border in the Western part of the state so we are around 70/30 Sox/Yankees fans.

My mom's diary is not filled with stories about high school boys or academics, or book reviews - its filled with whatever Mickey Mantle did that day. Let me tell you the fall of 1978 was a tough tough time in my household

Seems like every time I second guess one of Cora's moves he proves me wrong. Was questioning replacing Devers with Nunez and on the next pitch he hits a 3 run shot over the monster.

My father actually texted my brother and I on the commercial and asked if we would pinch hit Nunez for Devers for defense.  I agree and then boom!

Now, I would have gone Brasier in the eighth the other night, and it may have worked out.  That being said, when I saw Eovaldi I simply said to myself, "in Cora I trust."

Eovaldi has been fantastic in the playoffs, really hope they re-sign him after the season, he's at least a quality backend rotation starter with the upside of a #3.

I have always liked him.  Back when I played fantasy he was always one of those guys I would look to get on the cheap

People still watch baseball? Pretty sure your average NFL night game has significantly higher viewership than World Series games.

Even more fun to attend the games. Game 4, NLCS: That's me, over Bellinger's right shoulder, front row, bottom of the 13th inning when Bellinger singled in the game winner. Blue hoodie, arms raised in victory.
