i saw a butthurt seahawks fan on PFT trying to run damage control on it by going "yeah well marshawn torched kuechly but it was just a bad throw.  he only made the pick because he was out of position and the ball went straight to him blah blah overrated" and the like.  even if that pass was right on target and caught, lynch was running laterally with his back turned to shaq who was flying downhill to light him up. it would have been a 4 or 5 yard gain tops.

Random thought but just feel like gushing about Kuechly in case a Bucs fan finds this thread (lulz). I said it last year during DPOY threads...but the clear moment that will stick with me about Kuechly (maybe forever) was the Thanksgiving game. Romo called a play, Kuechly adjusted, Romo audibles, Kuechly switches the defense and boom, he makes his leaping interception. 

 

Good player's don't do that. Great players can't always do that. Future HOF players do that poo. Suck it, Bucs.

I mean the ball was already in the air before Lynch even broke inside on the route. Luke got "torched" because he was sitting there waiting for the ball to come to him. If the ball is thrown on target then Luke would have been all over Lynch and likely broken up the pass

Haha, I know Saints fans are dumb, but Bucs fans aren't far behind. David isn't even the best LB on his team and he couldn't carry Kuechly's jock.

i always liked the stat that no team that's lost to the bucs in the regular season has ever won the super bowl.  as far as i know that still stands.

it's very easy to figure out why that is though: with only a few exceptions throughout their history, if a team lost to the bucs, odds are they really sucked.
