Boykin Visiting

^ It'd be a great move for two reasons. One is obviously that they need a nickel and Boykin is one of the better ones in the league. But he's been vocal about his desire to play outside. Not only could he conceivably challenge Bene for that this year, but if he signs for multiple years, that's some insurance in case they can't come to terms with Josh on a long-term deal. For that reason, he could look at Carolina as a more attractive option than whoever the other 3 teams are. It's win-win for both sides.

I don't get much of the WR talk. We have Kelvin coming back and according to Ron in position to have a breakout year. We have a well developing Devin Funches entering his sophomore year on the other side after a moderately successful rookie season, and a potential shot with Stephen HIll also coming off injury. Not to mention the additional wide outs still on the roster.

What more do people want this coming season? We saw what Cam did last season with what he had to work with and he danced his ass right into a Super Bowl.

Getty apparently doesn't quite share your complacency, as receiver is obviously a concern being how many we have had visits/workouts with for the past few weeks.

Everyone is counting on KB to come back and crush it, but he is coming back from a bad injury, as is Hill, and there is absolutely no guarantee that either will be good-as-new upon returning. Furthermore, they still have suspect hands until they prove otherwise. Unfortunately, dropped balls were  arguably one of the main reasons (if not the main reason) why we weren't dancing---Cam included---after the Super Bowl.

Upgrading a litttle to get over that hump is a reasonable expectation.

Does GMan let him leave town without signing?

The Godfather pays the ones he wants and makes them offers they can't refuse. If Gman likes his talent and the vibes, it will get done.
