Their d-line rotation is slowly developing into something special, they can for sure stop the run with it, and they look to be able to get interior pass rush. It's all a matter if Beasley consistently gets the outside pressure. Their LBs still suck though.

Soliai was a big piece of that run defense, and did a good job tying up 2 blockers for Hageman to get 1-on-1s, which he converted into 27 tackles and 1 sack. Soliai hasn't been replaced, and none of their DTs will replace what Soliai could do. Babineaux is their best option, but far from a good option. Upshaw will improve their run-stopping on the edges, but the middle of that defense looks soft now.

As far as outside pressure from Beasley and Shelby, neither has proven anything yet. Unless I should be impressed by their 4 sacks and 3.5 sacks they got last year, in which case we really should get Kyle Love re-signed, since he had 3 sacks last year.

We already stopped the NFC Champs.. Just a matter of us blocking & getting it done against TB & NO.

Nice job stopping the Panthers from winning the division 3 years in a row. Thumbs up

wave that win around for all its worth. you won't be good again til Matt Ryan retires.

I'm not waving it around. It's the truth, we beat the NFCs Champs. I'm not overly emotional about this football stuff like most. We won't be good until Matt retires lol.. That would hold some weight if he hadn't posted a winning record or anything but he has so I'll let you have it. I don't care to debate ridiculous opinions.

You're some what on point.. Especially the part about Solali & our run D but the pass rush part is a bit off. Beasley will grow & Shelby should get better since he didn't get much PT with Wake & Vernon ahead of him. I could see if he was a starter & only netted 3.5 after a full 16 but he was a back up who only started a few games last season.

You took what I said as an insult much like every other rival. We did stop you guys it's a fact. Nothing to be ashamed or upset about, just like I'm not bothered with you saying you guys won the NFCs 3x... It's factual so what? Lol. I can only hope the tide turns.

Different definitions of stopped the NFC champs. Playing us must be your Super Bowl, while we focus on getting back to the actual Super Bowl. Nothing wrong with a difference of definition.

Leap of faith hoping the rookie improves and giving a back-up DE $21 million, but hey, I'm not going to step on anyone's beliefs.

Leaf of faith.. It's exactly just that. I'm believing in DQ, just like you believe in Riverboat & GMan.

No not my SuperBowl but beating the 3x NFCs Champs is definitely a step in the right direction. 8-8 overall, 1-5 in conference play, if we could beat the other NFCs teams we'd be in decent shape.

The question we have to ask ourselves now is does Ron have it in him to have an actual open competition at RT this TC or does his open affection for mike remmers even in spite of the fact that he's a a bad player net the guy the job and the opportunity to cost the team more games

Your poo posting abilities never cease to amaze me...
