Falcons D better with Courtney Upshaw

idk, he was an OLB in the Ravens' 3-4, but wasn't really much of a pass rusher. apparently a good run stopper. ATL wants to make him the strong-side LB in their scheme. falcons fans are excited because "they're getting tougher" on defense.

he isn't especially fast and he doesn't pass rush, so Remmers should be fine. we'll see how it affects the run game. if Daryl Williams takes over RT i don't think it'll matter. he could take out a blocking TE or FB probably because he seems pretty powerful. He won't be able to cover Olsen.

i think in general he is a decent pick up to help them build against the run.

The question we have to ask ourselves now is does Ron have it in him to have an actual open competition at RT this TC or does his open affection for mike remmers even in spite of the fact that he's a a bad player net the guy the job and the opportunity to cost the team more games

Their d-line rotation is slowly developing into something special, they can for sure stop the run with it, and they look to be able to get interior pass rush. It's all a matter if Beasley consistently gets the outside pressure. Their LBs still suck though.

good signing. adds toughness and girth.

dont be blind panthers fans. our rivals can make good signings too

Now they have someone to handle run-stopping duties for Vic Beasley. That's all this is

We already stopped the NFC Champs.. Just a matter of us blocking & getting it done against TB & NO.
