we were getting beat but +20 in Detroit and beat the Bucks by +20.. thats a 40 point swing.. they aren't that big a difference in quality of team..

i mean, by your logic, we then should beat the 76ers by +100 tonight.. right?

Well, for the Pistons game, I thought we'd lose because the Pistons were desperate for a playoff spot and playing well, we weren't nearly as good of a road team, and the teams were equal in talent.

Obviously I didn't expect the blowout that happened, but clearly the Hornets didn't show up to play that night, which happens to every team over the course of 82 games. Even the Warriors, who will probably get 73 wins, but got blown out by the Lakers at one point.

After that, i was more concerned with the response the following night in Milwaukee, and they delivered with flying colors. Youre also overrating a Milwaukee roster which is basically a redux of the Hornets of last year: Great potential, great athleticism, fun on paper, but they can't shoot at all and Greg Monroe is a young Al Jefferson. They need an offseason makeover into a modern NBA roster like the Hornets in the worst way.

As for Philly, theyre probably more dangerous than Milwaukee because they pose the same threats Milwaukee did (length, athleticism, youth) but they actually shoot threes and play with pace. They haven't won because their roster is so deficient in talent but they play hard every night and can give anyone a game if they aren't ready to play.
