How old is your primary TV?

Our Primary is a 70"LG that's only a couple of years old.

 

What it replaced was a 47"LG that have moved from the Family Room to the Kitchen/Keeping Room that gets as much if not more use than the big one and its still going great after 9 years.

60 " Pioneer Elite Kuro plasma has to be about 10 years old. Love that thing.  It will be a sad day when it finally dies but that just means I will be able to get a 70" TV to replace it.

Agreed, it is a beast.  No speakers either, basically a huge monitor.

Looks like I'll be splashing about $3k for the Sony XBR-65x-930D. I don't see a better 65 incher on the market.

I think I have a 50" Samsung from Cotsco, I want to make a more informed purchase the next time. I'll be waiting on 4K to make its way down for gaming/internet.

I have a 2010 Panasonic plasma that's still just wonderful. I will hate the day it dies.

In our bedroom we have a 2010 32” sharp, best buy bargin. Still chugging along, but the picture isn't too great (never was).

My Panasonic 52" plasma is 9 years old. It isn't as bright as it used to be and it's starting to get line fade/bleed. I don't really notice it unless something bright with sharp lines like South Park is on though. I first noticed it when the "This preview is approved for all audiences" screen with the white text on the bright green background was on before a movie.
