This makes no sense. It's not like it's fuging Wenger's money. Someone on the board should just tell Wenger "Yea, we bid £25m" and actually bid £35m and get the deal done. People can blame Wenger all they want, but the board could just as easily pay full ask.

The board send Wenger on vacation and bought Welback.  That did not go over well with Wenger.  I think the board is afraid of him lol

Arsenal officially reached agreement with Borrusia M. on £30M total fee. £25M upfront and £5M in additional possible.

Xhaka landed in London today and is having physical tomorrow.  He should be revealed either Saturday or Sunday.

Xhaka to Arsenal done. Interesting that they had such a clear path to sign him. Bayern usually go after those players, but no one really tried for Xhaka but Arsenal. See how he transitions.

Arsenal almost sign him in January.  I think there was mutual interest.  Huge upgrade over Flamini.

Xhaka on why he chooses EPL over staying in Germany 

"I think everybody has a dream," he said. "Everybody has a childhood dream and that's my childhood dream. If my dream comes true, it remains to be seen. At the moment I cannot say how realistic it is."

 

He always wanted to play in EPL so when Arsenal came calling, he answered.  Wenger met with Xhaka dad back in January so the deal has been in works for months.

Apparently Wenger is for real...  He is willing to give Real Madrid £51M to buy back Alvaro Morata and sell it to him.

This is going to be interesting summer.

That's a lot of money for a kid whose highest ever goal talley in league play is 8. He's at that point in his career where he either booms or busts though. Ton of potential.

Arsenal are in a process of selling Chamberlain likely to Leicester.  Wenger also inquired about Saido Mane and will sign him when Chamberlain sale is complete.

I always liked Saido Mane, dude is a baller.
