Summer 2016 Transfer Window

Yep. His agent had a few quotes in Marca this morning. Basically that Zidane being at Madrid is a big determining factor for Paul, and that he's begun preliminary talks to make the move happen. PF should just learn to like Pogba, because he's the guy both Florentino and Zizou want to add this summer.

On another note, there's beginning to be an increasing belief and opinion that Morata's buyback will be exercised and he will be kept at Madrid. Obviously if Juve chooses to include him in Pogba talks that could change but as of right now, that's the belief in Spain.

Man I love the Euros and the WC, but it makes following the transfer window in June dreadful.

Madrid still in the drivers seat for PF's favorite player, Paul Pogba in case anyone was curious.

Looks like Wanyama will be joining us from the Saints for around £11 million. Nice price, and he wants to be here with Poch, so that's a win in my book for everyone. Saw reports he was taking his medical today.

You guys were after him for like 3 years now...  great signing.  He's a physical beast but he does make quite a bit of mental errors.  If you can fix that...  you will have a poor man Pogba.

So then definitely one of the most overrated players in the BPL then, right?

So Real Madrid are pursuing both N'Golo Kante and Pogba independently. Not sure where all these mid fielders will play without a lot of turnover, but Kante was extremely impressive with Leicester last season and has been a constant positive through France's friendlies and Euro fixtures.

Sounds like Pogba is still priority one, but Kante is being lined up as a DM. Could mean two of Modric/Kroos/James on the way out (assuming they end up with both), with the bolded the most likely exits. Real Madrid have also made it official, and informed Juve they'll be exercising the buyback on Alvaro Morata. Whether he's kept, sold onto the BPL or included back in the Pogba deal (unlikely as they could have just kept him in Juve if this was the case) remains to be seen.
