He is one of the top 3 or if not the best in the draft. You look for those freaks. No one moves that way at 300 pounds. He is faster than Short, more athletic. He will be one of the most balanced defensive players in the league. Guy can play inside outside and even fall back and catch a INT. You guys are worried about pot, not coke, not pounding whiskey. 90 percent of college kids in the draft smoke whether you like it or not.

Lets talk football. Robert and Hargraves are head and shoulders above anyone else. This will be a draft where we maybe get 2 great guys who can contribute. The rest are worth cutting. Be picky, choose the once every draft players. Example Cam. Example Shaq. You need an edge to win in the NFL.

I'm not worried about pot or coke.

I'm worried about stupid.

the NFL draft is about potential and taking an athlete so you can mold them into whatever you want them to be. Robert consistently disrupted opposing offenses, and his role helped the entire Ole Miss defense while he was on the field. just don't scout his numbers in the box score, but look at his cut ups and you can see how disruptive this guy is.

everything i read was he is a different guy, and that teams are scarred of different guys. dude plays the saxophone, and rocks hoop earrings (reminds me some of Hardy personality wise based on what i found). if a defensive line coach, and unit can get the most out of him, he will be a very good player. the panthers are one of those teams that probably could.

Key word in there. Nkemdiche has to want to succeed. Can't force him to become better.

Agree the draft is about potential, but balanced with the risk-to-reward assessment. is he worth risking a 1st round pick? 2nd round? I'd peg him at 4th round, because of the intangibles. Rounds1-3 are about floors, rounds 4-7 are about ceilings

You don't draft an idiot troublemaker in the first round based on wishful thinking. They need to have been productive players.  I believe you won't see this dude get any attention from our team.

Especially not if you're a team that got burned by one in the recent past.

Gettleman's "who needs a time bomb" quote should tell you all you need to know about this kid's chances of landing here.
