where should i go drinking in tuscaloosa

my wife is in DC for a few days so i'm taking a couple days and roadtripping to a few pivotal battlefields and other sites in the book i'm writing, to ensure historical accuracy as part of the final editing process. i ended up in tuscaloosa tonight, and, oh hey, it's saint patty's day.

for any of you from here/been here where should i go

I think there are mostly college bars that way.  I used to go through town quite a bit, but it was only during the day. 

I would suggest staking out a BBQ shack somewhere however. There is some of the best BBQ spots in Alabama
