How do I get rid of a terrible cat?

We got a new cat almost 2 years ago and my family is fed up with him. My son and I rarely touch him because it's very likely he will bite. He randomly attacks me, sometimes even biting my face and I'm not talking gentle bites. If I move him and he doesn't want to be moved, he often gets spiteful and eventually attacks me.  

 

I don't think anyone is going to want to take a cat that bites. What do I do with this lil fuger?

I would just let him outside and never let him back in.  You could still leave food out but things would eventually take care itself.  We had a cat like that when I was a kid and we didn't miss him once he finally stopped coming around.

You should volunteer to take it.

If you didn't get it clawed, outside and keep food out there where the cat can access it, but critters and insects can't.

It may just hate people.

he probably has some kind of mental problem.  cats can suffer from dementia and many other things that cause them to get scared and act out violently easily.

make him an outside cat as others have suggested and he'll eventually go somewhere else on his own.
