7 year wedding anniversary is approaching

The wife and I have been together 10 years and married 7.  Each year we usually take a trip around our anniversary (St Lucia, Dominican Republic, Vegas, Bahamas, etc...). This year we don't have a trip like that planned for our anniversary, as we have some big trips already planned over the summer. Plus we have small kids. So we are looking to do something fun or different around town. 

We are probably going to do a nice dinner, but I want to make it more special than that. We typically don't buy each other gifts, but this year may be an exception because we aren't doing a trip. 

Any ideas?

Drop $50 on a couple old, used refrigerators; throw 'em in the backyard and I guarantee the kids will keep themselves occupied for hours.... much cheaper than a babysitter who's just gonna lock the kids in the closet and bang her boyfriend on your dining room table after looking through all your dresser drawers and jewelry box anyway...

Then do whatever you want!
