Come on man!  Cooley was the un-named source.  He just came out the closet once he was cut.  I have found westerns to be an excellent resource.  Also, I don't understand "strawman" but my name is Allaine.  So, watch a couple of westerns.  Try the Lone Ranger series.  Very interesting.

Nothing educates people about an underachieving quarterback's lack of locker-room popularity like a 50-year-old black-and-white TV show with absolutely nothing to do with the conversation

lol@ Johnny he is such a Weiner I mean "Winner"!!!  Not sure why u have Sam Bradford in the same category?  Manziel never should have been drafted in the 1st round..maybe the 4th.. he sucked in college and was highly overrated!! From what I have read RGIII is a locker room cancer..I dont wish him ill will just doesn't sound like he has what is needed to get further in the league but I do not want him here.

Bradford belongs in this conversation because he's suffered 2 acl tears, has not won anything and is employed and is not being ridiculed by you.  Draft status is in the past and not related here.  Robert has been dogged very well, I read all that stuff too.  I also read and still read a lot of stuff about Cam.  It goes over my head also.  I'm not advocating Robert comes to the Panthers because he's a starter and a baller.  Oh, Vince was a baller too.

Heisman, ROY, Division Champ in rookie year.  Yes, Lone Ranger series is very educational.

What did he do after his rookie year? What did RG3 do after his?

/waits for some sort of Western-related response

"Dude" you called him "underachieving".  It turns out that he has achieved something, huh?  You do watch westerns don't you?  You know where I'm coming from?  Truth hurts?

Bruh you need to leave the Huddle and only visit this site

Nope.  I can connect to a lot of Panther related info here.  I'm a Panther fan and a football fan and a Robert Griffin III fan.  I have no problem with you having an issue with that.  By the way, I did not click your link.

Why does everybody think when someone says "[Insert Team Here] would be a good fit for [Insert Player Here]" that they're actually predicting that player will be signed by that team?  Or even that the team needs that player?  That's not how words work.  The above statement implies only that the player (RG3) would benefit from being on the team (Carolina).  It doesn't also mean the reverse would be true.

Too bad he's not Sam Bradford or Johnny Manziel huh?  He'd be all right then.  Robert is a baller and a play maker just like Cam and Winston, and Russell.  He'll set it off once the "good ole boy" club gets out of its own way.

Do you see anyone even talking to Manziel right now?

If he does get picked up, good chance it'll just be for a camp tryout and he'll be unemployed again in short order. But it also won't surprise me if no one bothers at all.

And FYI, the Heisman isn't such a great thing for a quarterback to have on their resume'. Outside of Newton, the last several Heisman winning QBs have been washouts in the NFL.

Look up the list of Heisman Trophy winning quarterbacks over the last 20 years or so. It ain't pretty.

One other note: Chris Cooley is not the only teammate to trash RG3.  Look up some of Santana Moss's old comments back when he was there.
