So we are at #10? With the tenth pick of the 2017 NFL draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select Patrick Mahomes. The top qb picked that year was Mitch Trubski. Miles Garrett was the number one overall pick that year and he has had a excellent career. Of course, Cleveland is still terrible. Building a winning franchise is not about who gets the highest picks. Its about who makes the best picks, and especially in the later rounds. -

How can you say..You can't get so hyperfocused on one position(even the most important position in football like QB) that you just draft a QB and any QB Then turn around and say We got the next dozen or so drafts to keep taking cracks at it. Maybe I misunderstood your point
