6'4" 330 lbs Big Paul Soliai is a Panther!

Because the Falcons felt Soliai wasn't a fit in head coach Dan Quinn's system, they released him last week. But they still owe a $4.2 million cap charge for him over the next two seasons. So even if Soliai earns the full potential of his Panthers' contract, that cap hit will be just $2.8 million more than what the Falcons are facing for a guy who's now with a division rival.

LOL thanks Atlanta!

Maybe this is apart of the Falcons plan to beat us! Spam you Falcons.

Chuck Smith was signed by the Panthers to a five-year, $21-million deal in 2000 to help bolster the rising teams' defensive pass rush.

Smith hurt his knee and played in only two games of the 2000 season, and then retired afterward.

I'm happy about this signing. One more big bodied-vet to help show our probable first round DT the ropes.

Just my opinion, but there's so much talent at the DT in this class that I'm expecting a DT to be BPA at our pick.

I still hope we re-sign love though and if we have to let one of Star or KK go we've got some insurance to lessen the loss.

With our cap situation, we can afford to shop at Tiffany's for depth instead of the typical minimum guys.

If he wasn't up to par with the scouting department, we'd be getting a jag in July...so for gets to pull the trigger this fast shows how  coveted the guy is with the Panther's FO.

speaks volumes,

The DT's have improved the DE's and LB's  without any personnel changes.

I would imagine the DE's r getting more 1 on 1's. The pocket will be push back Further because kk and star are rested.

Luke TD and shaq can run sidelines to sideline.

the ball will be getting out sooner
