He was terrible last year. Boldin was way better with Gabbert throwing the ball.

Apparently White and Shanahan were having a feud all of last season.           Not an excuse,  just an explanation on why I believe his numbers were ass last season.

The ultimatum that Shanahan gave  -"it's either me or Roddy".......  is the kind of ego that I can see not getting the most out of players.

Roddy White.  He is pissed at the Falcons and at Shanahan.      Gimme a pissed off,  highly motivated older WR,  over  the mellow older WR,  like Colston.

I believe White is going to have a much better season in '16,  than both Boldin and Colston.

My thoughts, he would probably play good football this upcoming year

my only addendum here is that I'm not sure if he is a good fit for the locker room.

I'm not talking about his numbers. I watched him play, and not just the two games against us. The "feud" that probably does exist had no impact on his sh*tty route running and inability to show any quickness off the line. His hand work at the line was poor too which shouldn't be the case for a veteran like him. And if the feud did have an impact on his play, then I wouldn't want a mental midget like that either.

Boldin easily. He's a high character guy and a physical receiver with sure hands. He's not only be an asset in the locker room and for the younger receivers, he's still good enough to be a major asset on Sunday's.

But I love the 'he was in a feud with Shanahan" as some sort of excuse for him sucking. Of course he was in a feud with Shanahan, he's in a feud with everyone. He's a scumbag. Bring him here and he'll find someone to be in a feud with too and that zero drama locker room Jared Allen talked about will now be full of guys getting pissed off by the scumbag going around saying poo like "You know, 9/11 really wasn't so bad."

Think I'd rather just stand pat to be honest. All those guys are pretty similar types to Benjamin and Funchess, and I'd rather Funchess continue to get burn. I say roll with KB, Funch, Ginn, and Philly and then add 1 or 2 of Bersin/Norwood/Hill/rookie via open competition.

I'd like to have at least 1 WR that can catch consistently

Boldin then Colston. No other vet available right now that I would want us to sign.

Actually---just purely from a football perspective, sans the seeming questionable attitude---I think that Mike Wallace may be the best fit.

As for the poll, I pick Colston because he is the bigger, younger option that I believe has just as much in the tank, if not more than, Boldin. This in turn makes him more serviceable.
