Cool...seems on the high side but nothing to complain about.

It's not bad, but yeah I was kinda thinking the same. Wonder if Love's holdout and Raji's retirement (assuming we really were interested) motivated Gettleman to get a deal done.

High side? You've definitely gotten spoiled by Gettleman. That's actually pretty cheap. The funny thing is the Falcons will be paying him more than we are

Yes, compared to Edwards who was a starter a few years back it is significantly higher per year. I'm not complaining but it's higher than we have put in the position in a while. He is currently our highest paid per season DT.

The Falcons paid that when they signed him. They are not still paying him.

Over half of the guys he signed last year were cut again before the season started. That's what all the waiting and bargain shopping gets you as far as free agents. There's nothing wrong with that, because we draft well, and that formula works.

I love DG and think he's the best GM we've ever had by far. But his mythical eye for talent landed us Jarret Boykin and Kevin Norwood to fix our WR situation last year. But at least they were both cheap (if you don't count draft picks given up in the trade).

I think I'm just arguing because I'm bored though, there's nobody I even want us to sign.

That's pretty much every team in the league.

When you build a roster of 90 players to take to camp, somebody's getting cut, and it won't just be rookies.
