Browns should keep his contract as is,  and trade for him.      I mean,  poo,  they've given up 1st round picks for guys like Johnny Football and Weeden..   Kaep is a guy that can still be developed,  and until he gets there,  has the physical tools to help him/his team.                I would take him 20 times out of 20 times over guys like Brock. 

I really don't have one feeling one way or the other about the Browns in general, and I don't like Kaep at all, but I feel like the Browns are getting a little cute in free agency. They have no QB right now. They have an at least average QB who actually WANTS to play them (while all their own free agents ran for the hills) and they can pick him up paying less than market value for him (if Bradford and Brock can get what they got, then Kaep is being underpaid). But yet, apparently, they want him to take a pay cut before they'll agree to the deal.

Different management, same story. Browns gonna Brown.

Yep.           I thought Kaep's deal was extremely team friendly anyway.             

 

Right now,  they have the chance to get Kaep,  if they stop trying to play ultra-hard ball.     The guy may not be great,  but he will get that fanbase and some of their players,  excited.  ..and unlike the trash they've been trotting out there,  he has some pretty damn good experience as a starting NFL Qb.
