We'd have to get like 3-first round picks to need that much for our picks.

5-6 is more like the actual $ range.

i think we have enough for Coples but getting Charles back may mean we go for some more DB help.

I wouldn't be surprised to see us go all defense with our picks. We have Stew through 2018 and I think he has enough left to be effective throughout his contract.

Probably try and sign Short after the season and hope the cap jumps another 7-8 million so we can tag Josh again if his play continues as a lock-down corner.

We have s club option on Star for 2017 that I think we'll utilize.

i think Kalil's contract is up after next season and we may have already signed his replacement.

If you look at the contracts for 30th or 31st picks in each round of last years draft, you'll see that the total first year cap hits for all combine was slightly more than 4 million. We already gave up 1 pick but may gain compensatory. The number will go up this year but not by more than a milion.

Person added the draft money (5) to the injury emergency money (5) to the 10 mill, and he's right.  But with us drafting next to last in the first 2 rounds and near the back of the 3rd (other teams comp picks)  it won't take as much money to sign our picks in the years we were drafting in the top 15,
