I think they mixed up Marvin Jones and Sanu on this one lol.

Right? Jones was overpaid a bit but his was defensible. Sanu is probably a bit better than his numbers indicate but...man, I don't get this one. Think they'd be better off rolling with Hardy and Hankerson and maybe a draft pick and using the money at a position of need, rather than one where they have arguably the best player in the game.

I remember picking up Sanu a couple years back in my fantasy league when the Bengals lost their top receivers to injury and then promptly dropped him like 2-weeks later when I actually watched him play.

I hate to laugh at teams and players, 'cause I sure as heck am no professional athlete...but what the heck is going on in Atlanta? What were they thinking...id love to know what kind of excuses their fans are using for this signing.

Yeah on the Falcons board it's really mixed. Half the posters are saying this was a dumb deal for somebody who literally had less yards and tds then roddy last year. Others are saying its a deal based on what his ceiling could be. And that if the guaranteed money is structured right it won't hurt them that bad if he doesn't perform.

Most like his size/weight/speed combination but are concerned with all the drops.

and they are looking to bring in Vernon Davis

That's what they need, realistically.

Evef since Gonzalez retired, they just haven't been the same.

Heck, they are going to be competitive, don't let this one weird signing tlessen their ability to compete, after all...I know we lost the SB, but they handed us our butts in our last meeting.

Fringe 3rd-option WRs making umpteen-millions per season. Wow Failcons.

I guess that's what happens when you can't hit on your later-round draft-picks.

I'm actually a fan of Justin hardy. He didn't do anything this season, but I think he'll be a solid player once he's up to speed.  Not a huge star, but solid. Probably Better than this high dollar Jack ass.
