Well they did just pick up Alex Mack, so maybe they were paying Gradkowski more than they wanted for a backup.  Dunno.

yeah it's true and funny

realistically though unless you have access to years of preseason film or something then there just isn't a ton of information about players like this that fans can get

They just spent a bajillion on Alex Mack. Mack becomes the starter, the starter, Mike Person, becomes the backup and the backup, Gradkowski, gets let go.

Don't think they let him go.  

He was a FA (he just completed his 4th year in the league).  Now did they or did they not *try* to re-sign him?  I don't know. 

But he wasn't released.

He did start every game in 2013 for the Ravens at Center (Oher and Dickson were there as well)
