Interesting Note: Speculation is that Reggie Nelson's age is scaring teams away.

Nelson is 32, the same age as Paul Soliai. Both will be 33 by season's end.

In case you're wondering, Roman Harper was just a shade over 31 when the Panthers signed him.

I know he's getting old but I think he would be a great pickup and lock up that safety spot for a year or two and allow us some time to get a solid young safety through the draft or free agency (which we know the Gman doesn't like to spend big).  Whoever we end up starting at safety I am confident in, Gman has done a great job of quality veterans to fill those slots and had he did a great job of fit, finding guys like Mike Mitchell, Roman Harper and of course Kurt Coleman.  I still have my doubts about Tre Boston and don't think he's anywhere near ready to be a starter yet.  If we were able to bring Mike Mitchell back, him and Coleman could be a great pair for a few year (both are heavy hitters and fun to watch).

Hardy with no visits set up and unlikely returning to Dallas, enrolled in school at Ole Miss. http://sportsday.dallasnews.com/dallas-cowboys/cowboys/2016/03/15/free-agent-visits-cowboys-de-greg-hardy-going-class

BRING HIM HOME

Hardy is never coming back. He may never play in the NFL again.

That said, good for him taking positive steps to finish his education. After the entire incident happened and years went by and people gained clarity on the whole situation, it became clear that Hardy needed/needs help. Looks like he's taking steps.

Hardy and Manziel are both guys about whom I fear someday seeing a story that they put a gun to their head.

Hope they can both get their lives straightened out, but I think the NFL glory they each envisioned is a pipe dream now.
