Cardinals going all-in for that playoff exit.

They didn't get a single hurry on Cam in the NFCCG, much less a hit or a sack. It's definitely a panic move from the playoff loss. They have worked before, notably the Pats going and getting Revis and Browner after getting carved up by Peyton in 2014, but I can't imagine the success rate is very high.

As folks alluded to the night of the NFCCG, there are an awful lot of parallels to the 2008 Panthers with that Cardinals squad, including doubling down on a QB past his prime in the offseason.

That said, Keim-Arians is a heck of a lot better than Hurney-Fox, but (barring injury) with the Panthers and Seahawks not going anywhere for the foreseeable future, their window is closing fast, if the Panthers didn't slam it shut that night.

And every team is prioritizing pass rushers this offseason for the heck of it and not because Von Miller almost single handedly won a Super Bowl...

And 1% milk is better than 2%, great analysis

Jags have signed Kelvin Beachum. Ranked third in pass blocking efficiency in 2014 and only allowed six pressures in six starts in 2015. He's a talented left tackle and could certainly beat out Luke Joeckel, their former second overall pick for the starting left tackle position on their team. Granted Joeckel hasn't been terrible for them, he's been average, but I wonder if the Jags will be looking to trade Joeckel this off season?

Would it be worth throwing a mid round pick or a couple of mid round picks their way? Try and tempt them to let him go and bring him here. I doubt that will happen, but it could be an option to address the tackle position with a young player needing to kick on. If we can get Oher playing to a good level, I'd like to see what our staff could do with a former second overall player.

    • Yes.  And this converts directly to confidence.  Does the coach have confidence to call a deep dig or seam route?  Does Bryce have confidence in his ability to be the Alpha?  Do his teammates have confidence.  About film--when I see Cam Newton's pre-snap confidence vs. Bryce's, it is night and day.   Film--tells you if the WRs are open (why l love watching the Replay telecasts from the end zone cameras--you can see it.  I have seen 2 WRs open and Bryce's eyes are on the outlet WR or the pass rush. )  You can see progressions, and he has improved a bit--but he is very quick to rush through 1 and 2 and checkdown--that is a lack of confidence in his ability to read the defense.  I had a former NFL TE (Deems Maye) who played QB in high school (not sure about college) tell me that the best QBs read the defense by knowing where everyone will be when the ball is to arrive--not where they are.  I think his QB at the time was Humphries.  He said that Humphries would throw the ball into coverage before the cuts etc.  because he understood DB momentum, zone areas, etc.  and he could just see it.  Said so when people say nobody was open, they are usually right because nobody should be "open" when the QB has the ball--when the ball arrives, everyone should be open.  He said Humphries was never "great" but his skills were limited--from a small school--but his ability to read a defense made him never give up on a route.

Bessingers or Melvin's BBQ sauce.  However Bessingers is the best in the world, Melvin is 2nd.    I found this article    In fact, the New York Times Magazine described the sauce as “terrifically balancing the tangs of mustard and vinegar with a wood fire's charry flavor.” While helping his dad, Joseph “Big Joe” Bessinger, as a teenager in the kitchen of the family's first restaurants, Thomas learned the secret recipe for the gold sauce – ... https://www.bessingersbbq.com › t...
