No, but there are a few things we know.

- Carolina's offer to him was "low level" per Jonathan Jones

- Jacksonville has more money to spend than just about anyone

- The Jags signed him despite having drafted a punter high just a few years back

You could also say we "know" that the Jags aren't all that bright, but that's more of an opinion (even though it's arguably true).

I'm more concerned that Rich Eisen was the one the scooped Nortman leaving before our local beat writers over the fact of Nortman actually leaving

I can't believe Norman is going to Jacksonville of all places. Is the money really...

Oh, it's Nortman. Well, that's not as bad. I mean, it's still a loss but it felt like whenever we exchanged punts, we often gave the opposition a few extra yards. Not certain but given our offensive production this year, we didn't see him as much so the shanks stood out more.
