Tolbert returning for two more years

Since Tolbert has played in Carolina, the Panthers are 43-22-1. He only missed an 8 game stretch in '14, if memory serves. Those 8 games the team went 1-7, only beating the Bears, week 5, IIRC... So 1-7 without, 42-15-1 with....

i get stats can be skewed, but the wins are hard to argue with, they speak for themselves....

Glad 35 is still a Panther, Keep Pounding.....

I've seen that stat quoted a number of times now, and while I don't necessarily disagree it's also worth noting that the worst OL that Carolina has had in years was on the field during that stretch and started turning over around the time that Tolbert came back. Maybe he truly does mean that much to the offense.

It was the O line. That stretch will go down as the worst in the panthers history.

He needs an incentive for blocks made .. Then maybe he'd be worth his deal .. And the constant stats everyone is pushing about we are X-X with or without Tolbert doesn't hold any weight .. We had the worst line in history and it showed .. It wasn't Tolberts presence on the field IMO.
