My dad had this same car (69 Chevelle SS big block) and a double pumper and rock crusher are the only way these beasts should be on the road!!

69 was a great year for Chevy.  

I prefer Cam drive in an armored vehicle, something along the lines of a Sherman.

An LS engine with a big cam sounds just as good or better than a carb'ed v8. I had an LS2 C6 Corvette with a cam, headers, and supercharger making 730 horsepower and it sounded very similar to my uncle's big block nova. Looked like Cam's has headers so it should sound really good.
