This sir is what happens when you have a good team destined to compete year in and year out.  Instead of coming off of a 2-14 season and having to overpay people to play for you, we have players leaving millions on the table to stay.

That's not really how it works.

Dead money Is counting regardless of if he's cut or not. This is the same thing as a $8MM pay cut.
