I hope this is true. Everyone trashed him and said he had nothing left and totally ignore the fact he had a sack in every playoff game. Only problem I have is I wish it was was a two year deal, that gives us time to groom the d.e we will inevitably draft this year.

He made that the day Hurney gave him that deal. DG just did some restructuring of his contract and that's why it's dead money now. $5Mish is what's being reported so he basically just took a $6M pay cut which is pretty substantial considering how well he played in the playoffs.
